These cute little "brownie" bites are packed with protein from chickpeas, have a velvety chocolate taste and are 100% Holistic Nutritionist approved for a healthy dessert. Who loves guilt free dessert?! ME!

Yield: 12-15 balls
Ingredients:
● 1.5 cups soaked chickpeas or 1 can chickpeas (15oz)
● 3 tbsp almond butter
● 3 tbsp coconut oil
● 1/4 cup dates
● 1/3 cup honey
● 1/3 cup gluten free oats
● 4 tbsp cacao
● 1 tsp salt
● 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
● *Optional add chocolate chips
Instructions:
In a food processor or blender, blend all ingredients except the chocolate chips and shredded coconut. The chips and coconut will be added last. The mixture should be well blended, like a thick cookie dough consistency to roll into balls.
Stir in chocolate chips if desired and put in the fridge to cool. After an hour roll dough into balls and if desired roll in coconut flakes. They also would be awesome rolled in chopped nuts or seeds! Store in fridge up to 4 days or freeze for months.
